What's the history behind Hoop Empire?

Bunny Hoop Star is the Director of Hoop Empire. She is a multimedia artist, hoop teacher, and founding member of The Hoopaholics - Australia's one and only hulahoop troupe. She has been hooping for over a decade and now performs and teaches in Australia and throughout the world. Drawing inspiration from both the Circus Arts and from the US 'Hoop Dance' scene, Bunny merges the two influences into a unique 'hybrid' hooping style. Bunny co-founded the Hoopaholics in 2005 and then moved on to create Hoop Empire in 2007. In a force be with you kind of way, Hoop Empire embraces the notion of connecting all HoopStarz under one cosmically whirling banner as a collective community and business enterprise on a global and local level. Hoop Empire continues to collaborate with sister companies throughout Australia and the world. Our underlying business ethos focuses on cooperation and collaboration rather than competition.
